Production Manager (Cookhouse)

Description The ideal candidate, who will report directly to the Factory Manager, will be primarily responsible for the effective management of the daily operations of the animal feed manufacturing plant. Responsibilities Managing an animal feed manufacturing plant and production process Management of operating expenses in the feed plant Implementation of strategies to achieve profitable goals Preparation of budgets of the manufacturing plant Effective receipt and dispatch of stock Good personnel management in the plant Maintenance and repair of all machinery and equipment Ensure the plant complies with Occupational Safety and Health Requirements Grade 12 certificate and/or a Production Management Diploma 5 years of relevant Production Management experience Knowledge of the technical aspects related to the manufacturing plant Knowledge of all relevant quality and nutritional standards Good leadership and management skills Excellent administrative and organizational skills Computer literacy with a good knowledge of MS Office Knowledge of the technical aspects related to the manufacturing plant Please consider your application unsuccessful if you have not received feedback within one month of the closing date.
