Direct message the job poster from Morgan McKinley Responsibilities Oversee the compliance function in Singapore and act as the key advisor on all Singapore regulatory matters. Serve as the primary liaison with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), local exchanges, and other relevant regulatory bodies. Research, interpret, and advise the business on compliance with laws, regulations, and guidelines applicable to broker-dealer activities in Singapore. Develop, implement, and maintain compliance strategies and control frameworks in line with MAS and exchange requirements. Draft, review, and update internal compliance policies and written supervisory procedures. Translate regulatory requirements into clear instructions for technology and operations teams to implement necessary system and process changes. Manage regulatory inspections and internal/external audits, including the preparation of responses and the implementation of remedial action plans. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance awareness and alignment across business functions. Monitor regulatory developments and industry trends, and proactively assess their impact on the firm’s operations. Requirements Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Compliance role in a broker-dealer or capital markets environment. Strong working knowledge of MAS regulations and Singapore exchange rules.
