About The Role Responsible for developing strategic plans at group, entity, or function level to ensure continued success of growth and profitability. Position Objective: design and execute Tied Distribution\u2019s Sales Strategy & Campaign, manage Tied Agency\u2019s expense budget and lead TD\u2019s data & analytics team. Responsibilities Lead the team to design, develop (including business proposals & projections) and execute Tied Distribution\u2019s Sales Campaign within the allowable P\u0026A budget Chairs and facilitates the Sales Challenge Task Force (Location Heads and SDOAs) for the design and execution of sales campaigns Evaluate effectiveness of Sales Campaigns and incorporate learnings to improve future campaigns Responsible for the fulfillment of the Sales Campaign (payment, vendor management for goods delivery & taxation) Responsible for the appeal framework & execution of appeal process Allocates the VONB target and monthly phasing to the sales teams Budget Management Responsible for expense budgeting for Tied Agency (GOE and P\u0026A) Collaborate with all Tied Agency cost center owners for budget allocation and tracking of expenses Preparation and reconciliation of financial spending through monthly accruals for Tied Agency Data & Analytics Lead the team to provide automated tracking of Sales Campaigns & integrate into iSMART Align production data sources, document and share one source of truth Implement best practices / Alteryx workflow standards Provide data-driven insights in decision making behind Sales Campaign mechanisms Lead deep-dive data analyses in TD’s historical performance and make recommendations Lead TD Strategy’s resources for data transformation & visualization Develop and maintain workflows for business performance reporting Create and maintain insightful dashboards for management & sales teams Automate reporting for users in TD Strategy Lead and manage a team Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture aligned with organizational goals Ensure effective communication and alignment of team objectives with broader Tied Distribution strategy Provide guidance, mentorship, and performance management to team members Support professional development and continuous learning opportunities for team members Minimum Job Requirements Education & Experience A Bachelor’s degree At least 8 to 10 years of experience in Life Insurance preferably in Agency channel management Specific Skills (Knowledge, Skills And Competencies/ Abilities) Knowledge of life insurance industry Strong business acumen with analytical curiosity and attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, data analytics and visualization tools like Tableau/PowerBI Proficient in data transformation using SQL or low/no code tools (e.g., Alteryx) Proficient communications skills to explain policies with Tied Distribution force and internal stakeholders Self-learner and hands-on to troubleshoot challenges Excellent interpersonal and people management skills About AIA For over a century, AIA has served the ever-changing needs of our customers across Asia-Pacific.
