They are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Vice President of Operations to lead core operational functions and drive excellence across manufacturing, engineering, procurement, and logistics. As they enter a critical phase of scaling, they are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Vice President of Operations to lead their core operational functions and drive excellence across manufacturing, engineering, procurement, and logistics. Responsibilities Leadership & Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive operations strategy aligned with company growth objectives and product roadmap; lead and mentor cross-functional teams including Manufacturing & Production, Procurement & Supply Chain, and Engineering; collaborate with the executive team to support strategic planning, budgeting, and organizational development. Manufacturing & Production: Oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations, including production planning, quality control, and process optimization; drive continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality; ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards across production facilities. Contract Manufacturing Management: Build and manage strong relationships with contract manufacturers, ensuring alignment on quality, timelines, and cost targets; negotiate contracts, manage performance metrics, and resolve escalations with external partners; lead joint development and production initiatives ensuring seamless collaboration and accountability. Procurement & Supply Chain: Oversee global procurement strategy, supplier selection, and cost management; optimize supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery, inventory accuracy, and risk mitigation; implement scalable systems and processes to support multi-region sourcing and logistics. Engineering Collaboration: Partner with engineering leadership to ensure manufacturability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of new product designs; support cross-functional alignment between R&D, product development, and production teams; drive DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and NPI (New Product Introduction) processes.
