Job Description

Enterprise Architect Exciting opportunity with one of our end clients who are on a global digital transformation journey. We’re looking for an Enterprise Architect to play a pivotal role in shaping their technology strategy and driving innovation at scale. This role is a Permanent employment opportunity. Drive the development of target architecture frameworks and roadmaps, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with organizational objectives. Establish IT architecture governance processes to ensure ongoing adherence to architectural principles. Lead the adoption of architectural practices across the digital technology organization. Align internal and external stakeholders to ensure synergies and technology optimization across the enterprise. Support the realization of benefits from new and enhanced technology solutions. Maintain detailed documentation of the IT landscape to ensure a knowledge-rich environment. Identify opportunities and barriers in technology strategy and delivery, keeping innovation at the forefront. Develop the practice of architecture across enterprise, solution, and data domains, fostering strong communities of practice. Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the digital strategy and operating model, leading by example through change management. What is needed: A clear enterprise architecture roadmap is in place and followed. Application roadmaps are aligned to business strategy and capabilities. Systems and applications are modular, scalable, and interoperable. Architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman) are applied appropriately. Technology decision-making is based on enterprise-wide standards and best practices. Technology debt is systematically addressed. A strong architectural practice is established with cross-team coordination. Cloud, DevOps, and automation are leveraged for efficiency and scalability. Continuous learning and application of industry & technology trends add value to the strategy. Clear objectives are set, risks anticipated, performance measured, and results evaluated What you bring: 5 years as a lead enterprise architect in global organizations and 10 years in IT architecture roles. Deep expertise in enterprise and domain architecture, including data, integration, and applications. Proven experience establishing architectural functions in IT organizations with limited prior capability. Strong understanding of IT delivery methodologies, cost-benefit analysis, and risk management. Proficiency with enterprise tools, frameworks, and approaches (e.g., SOA, microservices, predictive analytics, Agile/Lean, ITIL, TOGAF). Experience in SAP-driven ecosystems and Industry 4.0 technologies. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, able to influence across all levels of the organization. Inclusive and inspiring leadership, with a hands-on and pragmatic approach. Demonstrated ability to lead engagement practices, promote best practices, and enhance collaboration to reduce duplication and ensure cohesion. English fluency required; additional language skills (Italian) is an advantage.
