Financial Accountant

Overview We are looking for a Financial Accountant to join our Finance Hub in Asti, Italy . As a member of a dedicated team of accounting professionals for Europe, you will be responsible for the accounting and monthly closing tasks for Johnson Electric’s European HQ that is based in Switzerland. Responsibilities Ensure compliance of bookings with accounting principles, internal and external regulations Provide timely and accurate monthly reporting packages Complete general ledger and analytical accounting tasks Carry out monthly, quarterly and year-end closures Maintain close cooperation with Financial Controlling Participation in internal and external audits when required Act as a Business Partner to other departments Ensure deadlines are met and high quality of data is provided Requirements BSc or MSc degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting Ideally 3-5 years’ professional experience in a relevant accounting position Fluency in business English (oral and written) Analytical mindset and great attention to detail Advanced Excel skills Flexibility for occasional travel within Europe Nice to have CPA qualification Big Four and/or work experience in international business environment IFRS knowledge Oracle experience What we offer Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for professional growth and development Collaborative and innovative work environment A truly international and multicultural work context Come join our global, inclusive & diverse team.
