Power Electronics Engineer

Overview As part of the development of our entityAbylsen Italy, specialized in Transport (automotive, aeronautics, defense, space and rail), Heavy Industry (metallurgy, steel plant), Energy and IT, we are looking for a Power Electronics Engineer to integrate our team of consultants and bring your expertise on all our projects. Responsibilities Define the Hardware architecture and topology of the AC-AC inverters Design the hardware, all the way from schematic level to layout Define the requirements of the critical power devices (IGBTs, gate drivers, magnetic components) and design Design custom components (mainly magnetics) when no off-the-shelf devices are available Work closely with the FW designer and System Engineers to ensure that the devices stresses are kept within control by the control system. Requirements Bachelor, Master degree or PhD in Electronic Engineering with specialization in Power Electronics. Knowledge of digitally controlled AC-AC converters Fluency in Italian is mandatory Hardware Design Circuit Simulation (PSPICE, LTSPICE, PLEX), including advanced analysis (Sensitivity, Monte Carlo) Basic knowledge of either Python or MATLAB We Offer Permanent contract Supplementary health care assistance "Fondo Est" Free access to 500 gyms throughout Italy Periodic follow up with Business Managers Beyond your technical knowledge, it is really your personality that will make the difference !
