Travel Nurse RN - ICU/Critical Care - $3,170 per week in Pleasant Prairie, WI

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Variable schedule Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience License: Wisconsin/Compact License required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Strong CRRT skills - 2 supervisor references within 1 year, including one from the most recent assignment Description: Must have a variable schedule. Must have BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS in hand at submission. Must float to IMCU (stepdown) if needed. Scheduling flexibility is required between day and night shifts as staffing needs arise. The schedule goes out 4 weeks at a time. The scheduler will consider the transition between days and nights. Requires strong skills in accessing ports and arterial line management. Experience assisting with chest tube insertion/removal and management of BiPAP and CPAP is needed. Competence in blood product administration and care of ventilated patients is essential. Familiarity with central line care and management, as well as central venous pressure monitoring, is required. Experience with various critical care procedures, including CRRT and post-operative management, is necessary. Ability to interpret arterial blood gases and manage patients with multi-system organ dysfunction/failure is crucial. Candidate should be adept at managing ventilator-dependent patients and have experience with IV sedation and titration drips. Knowledge of isolation precautions and infection prevention strategies is essential. The candidate will work with interdisciplinary support teams and provide care to adult and geriatric patient populations. Float requirements may vary based on staffing needs. Weekend coverage may also be required as needed. Traveler experience is preferred.
