Pay Information $2,454 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Home Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:00 - 17:00) Experience: Minimum 1 full year of Adult Home Health Experience or 1 full year of Hospice experience depending on the specialty License: Must have nursing license in hand Certifications: CPR, BLS Must-Have: Proficiency in HomeCare HomeBase EMR and OASIS Description: Provides and coordinates home nursing care according to physician's orders. Responsible for the competent application of the nursing process. Directly supervises and evaluates Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses. Home visits and periodic office meetings are required. Must have reliable transportation and current driver's license. Agency-required liability insurance is necessary. Average number of patients per day is 5-8. Contractor will be assigned between 5-10 patients per day, equating to roughly 6-8 points. Types of cases include Start of Care, Wound Care, and Follow-up Visits. No guaranteed hours are provided. All documentation must be completed within 24 hours of the patient appointment. Must be open to traveling up to 75 miles from the assigned care center. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. Must understand that all patients on the schedule must be accepted, regardless of distance. Traveling daily to patient homes and attending weekly meetings is an expectation. All travelers must be proficient in HomeCare HomeBase and have used it within the last 6 months. Retraining is required if proficiency is not met within the specified time. All documentation impacting billing and patient care should be completed timely. This position may involve on-call rotations.
