TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, 53158! Pay Information $2,236 per week About The Position Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med/Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Must have 1 year of recent experience. Must be able to interpret and sign off telemetry strips. License: Wisconsin/Compact License required in hand before start. Certifications: BLS and NIHSS certifications must be in hand before start. Must-Have: Two references from the last year, including one from the most current assignment, before start. Vaccination for the flu is required, with medical or religious exemptions only. Description: The position requires working night shifts with a schedule of three 12-hour shifts. Candidates should have experience in blood product administration and management of dysrhythmias. Knowledge of isolation precautions and non-invasive airway management is necessary. Experience with starting IVs and peripheral line care/management is essential. The patient ratio is six patients per nurse during night shifts. Daily census in the unit averages 82 patients. Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, and other essential services. Candidates with local travel experience are preferred. Epic charting system experience is preferred. Background checks will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Latex allergies cannot be accommodated.
