Pay Information $2,056 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7 PM - 7 AM) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Fetal Heart Monitoring - AWHONN (Advanced), NRP Must-Have: - Minimum 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery - Certifications as listed Description: Unit Type: Labor/Critical Care - Inpatient Total number of cases per day: 6 Patient ratio by shift: 1:2 Total number of beds: 12 Labor beds, 6 Antepartum beds Total number of physicians: 8 private practice OBs, 24-hour OB Hospitalist in-house Patient population: High Risk Antepartum Documentation system: Epic, CPN Floating required to other units: Mom/Baby, sitter in main hospital Weekend requirements: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule Shift hours: Typically 7 PM or 7 AM Uniform: Royal Blue Scrubs, Closed toe shoes (professional) Hair: Neat, clean, trimmed, no artificial nails, no chipped polish Clock in time: Before 6:45 PM, must be ready for shift huddle at 6:45 PM 28282012EXPTEMP Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS BLS Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam 5 Benefits of Travel Nursing Advocating for patients from diverse backgrounds and with different healthcare needs refines your patient advocacy skills, making you a more effective advocate in various healthcare settings.
