Azure Infrastructure Engineer - Contract Start date: ASAP (within the next 4 weeks) Contract length: 6 months Day rate: £425 - £465 per day inside IR35 Location: Wokingham - 3 days per week onsite Our client, a large global consultancy, is seeking an experienced Azure Infrastructure Engineer to deliver application environments in Azure for critical project work. You will be responsible for provisioning resources based on architecture and solution design documents, managing progress and risks, and ensuring delivery within agreed timelines and costs. Key Responsibilities: Build Azure resources using ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep . Create and manage pipelines using Azure DevOps (ADO) . Hands-on experience with Docker and Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) . Configure and maintain Azure services such as Storage Accounts, Container Registry, Key Vault, Monitor, and Log Analytics . Manage infrastructure operations, administration, and engineering tasks . Oversee database and storage technologies . Work effectively with stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and quality outcomes. Desirable Skills: Familiarity with Scrum, Agile, and DevOps methodologies . Understanding of Virtual Network Peering and AD Synchronization . Scripting and template creation using Terraform .
