Multi Modal Freight Operator

Caledonia Recruitment are currently assisting a Global Forwarder based in Glasgow to join their team as a Multi Modal Operator. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role as a Multi Modal Coordinator located in the Glasgow area. The Multi Modal Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating various transportation modes to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods. Tasks include managing shipping schedules, communicating with carriers, tracking shipments, and resolving transportation issues. Salary: doe Qualifications Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management Knowledge of various transportation modes and shipping processes Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively Proficiency in data analysis and reporting Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Experience with transportation management systems is a plus Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
