Employee Incentives/Share Schemes lawyer NQ – 1 year PQE LONDON

Commercial law firm in the City is looking to recruit an Employee Incentives/ Share Schemes lawyer of 0 to 1 year PQE. Many of the teams’ clients are listed on the London Stock Exchange's AIM market, but they also advise start-ups and high growth private companies looking for the most efficient ways to recruit and retain key talent. The team advises on the design, implementation and operation of executive and all Employee Share and option plans for a full range of private and quoted companies. They also provide legal and tax advice relating to equity-based remuneration, including advice on establishing employee benefit trusts and preparing and agreeing share valuations with HM Revenue & Customs in connection with tax-advantaged plans such as EMI and CSOP. Furthermore, they also advise inward investment companies, particularly those from the US, on structuring their UK and European incentives and also handle the equity incentives issues that arise on corporate transactions, including M&A deals and private equity-backed buy-outs. Applicants will ideally have undertaken a seat in Employee Incentives/ Share Schemes or Corporate Tax (but have an interest in focusing on Employee Incentives matters).
