This is a hands-on engineering role focused on writing clean, maintainable Go code. You'll collaborate with other developers and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality features and improvements. This is a full-time permanent position, paying between circa £50,000 - £85,000 per annum, depending on experience. This Golang Developer position is fully remote. Qualifications & Skills required: 3 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on Go ( Golang ). Solid understanding of backend architecture, distributed systems and API design. Solid understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure as code and cloud platforms. Excellent communication skills and a true team player Experience working with SaaS platforms or automation tools is a plus. Comfortable working in agile environments (Scrum or Kanban). Experience with microservices, event-driven systems, and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) - DESIRABLE Background in product management or user-centred design - DESIRABLE Familiarity with performance optimisation and data modelling - DESIRABLE What you'd be doing: Develop backend services and components using Go. Design and implement APIs, data models and automation workflows. Optimise performance, scalability and reliability of distributed systems. Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions. Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Help identify and resolve technical bottlenecks and bugs.
