Job Description
The Client and Project Info: Our client is a Tier One M&E Contractor, currently seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Manager to join their team on a prestigious High-End Residential Project. With a proven track record of delivering complex projects across the retail, hospitality, banking, commercial, and residential sectors, our client is recognised for excellence in project execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full life cycle of high-value mechanical projects, from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring all deliverables are achieved within programme and budget. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong background in high-spec residential developments. Mechanical Project Manager Responsibilities: * Reporting to and working closely with the Operations Lead. * Managing high-value mechanical projects from initiation to completion. * Developing and maintaining project programmes, schedules, and budgets. * Leading and coordinating the activities of on-site teams. * Providing regular project updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders. * Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks. * Driving successful project delivery strategies. * Ensuring quality and safety standards are consistently achieved. * Managing scope, schedule, and budget variations effectively. * Conducting site surveys and producing detailed Site Audit Reports to support project costing and scope definition. * Building strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients. * Expanding and managing the subcontractor base to meet project demands. * Maintaining and enforcing high standards of health and safety across all projects. Mechanical Project Manager Requirements: * Exceptional communication and client-facing skills. * Ability to work independently with strong problem-solving capability. * Strong organisational and time management skills to succeed in a high-paced environment. * Competent with Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling/project management software. * Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management or relevant Mechanical Engineering discipline (or equivalent practical experience). * Solid experience within mechanical construction – HVAC, plumbing, and public health systems. * Experience delivering high-end residential or commercial projects. * Ability to implement modern construction methodologies such as BIM and LEAN principles. * Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Trimble, and MS Office (advantageous). * Demonstrated leadership, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. * Proven track record managing projects from pre-construction through to successful handover
