Job Title: Deputy Manager Home Care and Specialist Care Location: Southampton Salary: £30,735,54 per year Working Hours: Full Time working Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:00pm Reporting to: Registered Manager for Home Care and Specialist Care Are you an experienced care professional ready to take the next step in leadership? We are looking for a Deputy Manager for Home Care and Specialist Care to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of high-quality, person-centred care services. About the Role As Deputy Manager, you will support the Registered Managers in delivering a safe, compliant, and effective care service across both our Home Care and Specialist Care divisions. You will play a critical role in: Ensuring service delivery aligns with CQC standards and our organisations values. Supervising and developing frontline care teams and office-based staff. Monitoring care delivery, audits, training compliance, and staff performance. Leading on safeguarding, quality assurance, and risk management. Overseeing care packages, supporting rota management, and managing emergency care cover. Promoting customer wellbeing using models such as PERMA and Positive Behavioural Support. This is a high-impact leadership role ideal for someone passionate about both operational excellence and improving lives through care. What Were Looking For Were seeking a compassionate, organised and driven leader with: Experience in domiciliary and/or specialist care Knowledge of safeguarding, confidentiality, risk assessments, and person-centred planning Excellent communication and team leadership skills A proactive approach to service delivery, quality and staff wellbeing NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it Strong IT literacy including Microsoft Office and care systems (e.g. PASS, QCS, Care Planner) Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle Desirable: Prior management or coordination experience in care settings Familiarity with CQC inspections, audits, and contract delivery Experience in staff recruitment, training, and retention Why Work with SCA?
