Technical Manager Food Manufacturing

Technical Manager Fresh People are recruiting for a Technical Manager on behalf of a pioneering food business who are operating out of a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in East Kent . This is a unique opportunity for a Technical professional to make a real impact at the heart of an innovative and sustainable food production business. The Technical Manager will lead on food safety, quality, and compliance, ensuring the site consistently meets customer, legal, and industry standards while developing and inspiring a strong technical team preferrably from within a Fresh Produce or Food Manufacturing background. The Role Lead site food safety, product quality, and compliance programmes. Maintain accreditation, managing HACCP, VACCP & TACCP. Prepare for and manage audits and customer visits. Oversee allergen controls, microbiological and environmental testing, hygiene monitoring, and complaint investigations. Drive continuous improvement through RCA, CAPA, and audit readiness. Lead and develop the Technical/QA team, embedding food safety culture and training. Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure the highest standards are met. About You Experienced in a Technical/QA leadership role within food manufacturing or fresh produce. Strong knowledge of BRCGS, HACCP, VACCP & TACCP. A people leader with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop teams. Confident managing audits, compliance systems, and customer requirements. Passionate about sustainability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
