Accounts Payable Technician

This is a collaborative role where you will work closely with colleagues across all provinces in Canada, making experience with multi-province accounts payable essential. You will be responsible for processing a high volume of payables, handling intercompany transactions, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accuracy and compliance across all AP functions. If you're proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a hybrid environment, this could be the perfect fit.Why Join?- Competitive salary up to $65K- Excellent hybrid work model (3 days remote, 2 days in office)- Outstanding benefits package- A supportive and collaborative work environment with exposure across CanadaKey Responsibilities:- Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders in a timely and accurate manner- Enter accounts payable transactions into the ACCPAC accounting system- Prepare and process EFTs, cheques, and other payment methods- Manage intercompany transactions and prepare/enter journal entries- Reconcile general ledger expense accounts- Prepare tax self-assessments, filings, and reports as required- Maintain organized AP files and documentation to ensure audit compliance- Collaborate with internal departments and communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies- Support continuous improvement of AP processes and proceduresQualifications:- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar Accounts Payable role- Experience processing payables across multiple provinces (mandatory)- Strong Excel skills- ACCPAC experience is a huge asset- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills- Must be able to work onsite in Ville St-Laurent 2 days per week (additional days as needed)Ready for a fresh start this fall?
