Live-in Building Superintendent

About the RoleOur client, a well-established condominium syndicate located in Île-des-Soeurs, is seeking a live-in building superintendent to ensure the cleanliness, maintenance, and proper functioning of the residential complex.This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, autonomous, and dedicated individual who would like to benefit from a spacious 4 ½ condo on site and enjoy access to the gym, pool, and reception hall. Key ResponsibilitiesAs a live-in superintendent, you will be responsible for:· Maintaining the daily cleanliness of common areas (lobby, elevators, corridors, stairways, community and sports rooms, gym, showers, saunas).· Performing regular cleaning and upkeep of garages, garbage chutes, technical rooms, and exterior spaces.· Assisting with snow removal in winter (main entrances, emergency exits, ramps).· Monitoring and maintaining mechanical and safety systems (lighting, ventilation, sprinklers, alarms, garage doors, etc.).· Responding to emergency calls and ensuring resident safety.· Carrying out minor repairs (painting, replacing fixtures, small maintenance work).· Preparing and cleaning spaces for moves and events Working Conditions· Schedule: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours/week including lunch break).· Additional Hours: 2 hours on weekends emergencies.· Exclusivity: Full-time availability required (no other employment allowed). Compensation & Benefits· Base Salary: 48,000 $/year.· Condo and paid benefits (~30,000 $/year), including:o On-site 4 ½ condo (market value ~1,800 $/month).o Heating, electricity, air conditioning.o Internet, cable, and basic phone included.o Cell phone covered.o Indoor parking space storage locker.o Access to amenities: gym, swimming pool, reception hall.· Vacation: 3 weeks.· Paid statutory holidays according to Quebec labour law.· Annual salary review based on performance. Profile Sought· Experience in building maintenance, janitorial work, or similar role (asset).· Strong organizational skills, reliability, and autonomy.· Ability to handle urgent situations.· Professional and respectful attitude towards residents.
