Manager/Director

Overview We are representing a well-capitalised and fast-growing investment platform with strong backing from Asia. The firm is building its Singapore team and is looking for a commercially minded and entrepreneurial Investment Manager or Director to focus on deal origination and execution in Southeast Asia. This is a rare opportunity to join a high-trust environment with direct access to decision-makers, and to play a key role in shaping investment strategy and execution across the region. Key Responsibilities Originate and evaluate investment opportunities across Southeast Asia, with an emphasis on proprietary and relationship-driven sourcing. Lead or support deal execution, including financial analysis, valuation, due diligence, and negotiation. Develop and maintain a strong network of industry contacts, founders, advisors, and intermediaries. Assist in portfolio monitoring, strategic planning, and exit execution when relevant. Liaise with internal stakeholders (including the HQ team) to ensure seamless execution and alignment. Candidate Profile 7–10 years’ experience in investment banking, private equity, M&A advisory, or principal investments. Hunter mindset, with solid origination and execution experience. Strong understanding of the SEA mid-market landscape and ability to source deals. Skilled in financial modelling, due diligence, and structuring. Mature, trustworthy, and capable of operating with autonomy in a lean team. Entrepreneurial mindset – thrives in ambiguity and is willing to get hands dirty. Preference for candidates with SEA exposure and relationships (e.g., Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia). Fluent in English; other Asian languages are a plus.
