Role Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive insurance professional for a pivotal role. You''ll be instrumental in leading the comprehensive management of both captive and non-captive insurance programs across their Singapore business units. You''ll also provide vital advisory support for their growing Southeast Asian portfolio. Your responsibilities will span the entire insurance lifecycle, from timely procurement and renewals to leading tender processes, reviewing policy details, and overseeing the efficient handling of insurance claims. You''ll also play a key role in the governance and financial performance of their Captive Insurance Company, building strong relationships with key partners, and contributing to broader risk management initiatives and corporate projects. Responsibilities Lead the comprehensive management of captive and non-captive insurance programs across Singapore business units. Provide advisory support for the growing Southeast Asian portfolio. Ensure robust coverage for business operations and maintain compliance with local regulations. Implement effective risk mitigation strategies. Manage the full insurance lifecycle: procurement, renewals, tender processes, policy review, and claims handling. Contribute to governance and financial performance of the Captive Insurance Company. Build strong relationships with key partners and participate in broader risk management initiatives and corporate projects. Qualifications and experience University degree in a relevant discipline. At least 5 years of experience in a similar insurance or risk management role. Strong technical knowledge of insurance, including policy structures, coverage evaluation, and claims management. Proven ability to lead, motivate, and influence teams; strong stakeholder management and project delivery skills. Analytical thinking with attention to detail; proactive, resourceful, and continuously improvement-oriented mindset. Excellent verbal and presentation communication skills for effective engagement with relevant parties. Resilient under pressure, able to manage competing priorities; flexible and agile in responding to business needs; collaborative team player with a proactive approach.
