Executive Director, Head of Change Management Join to apply for the Executive Director, Head of Change Management role at Standard Chartered Singapore . Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Change Management to join the CIB Coverage COO team. This role is responsible for ensuring successful embedding of change initiatives across our ~$120m investment portfolio, covering across the Client Lifecycle including Onboarding / KYC, Credit, Document & Contract Management. In addition, this role is to support safe and effective implementation of global process change across Coverage processes and applications, which can be driven by risk, regulatory or optimisation opportunities. Responsibilities Own and continuously refine our Change Management approach and framework, ensuring a consistent and effective embedding of change across bank standards – covering Business Impact Analysis, training, communication, KPI & Metric measurement, and user feedback. Foster and develop a high performing & diverse Change Management team, which is able to support change delivery across the global portfolio. Develop single ‘change pipeline view’ across Coverage, enabling a view of change impacting each user group. Drive economies of scale and cost efficiencies through centralising Change Management across the portfolio. Develop strong senior stakeholder & change champion networks, and effectively communicating across them to ensure awareness and support of upcoming change. Drive focus on user adoption and value creation, ensuring necessary metrics and feedback loops are in place to validate value delivery and/or identify refinements to enable intended value to be realised. Own & refine the Change Risk Management framework, ensuring efficient, effective & timely Change Risk Assessment and Business Impact Assessments are conducted and active mitigation of risks. Establish and lead a Change Management Centre of Excellence – facilitating the growth and development of a high performing global change management team. You need to have extensive proven experience of large scale Change Management, leveraging expert communication skills and the ability to build trust-based relationships with the team and stakeholders, including C-Suite, Business and Functional stakeholders, Chief Product Owners / Technology Leads & end users. Strategy Develop and implement change management strategies aligned with the bank's overall objectives. Collaborate with senior management to define and prioritize change initiatives. Ensure that change initiatives are aligned with the bank's strategic goals, and support demonstrating that post-delivery value has been achieved. Business Conduct thorough business impact analysis to assess the potential effects of change initiatives on various business units. Work closely with stakeholders to identify and address any potential risks or challenges associated with change implementation. Develop and execute plans to minimize disruption and maximize business performance during change implementation. People & Talent Lead and manage a team of Change Management professionals, providing guidance and support. Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs to equip employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to adapt to change. Foster a culture of change readiness and continuous improvement within the organization. Create and foster a diverse and inclusive team and culture, championing psychological safety to ensure people feel empowered to share their views. Identify and address talent gaps, ensuring the right resources are in place to support the programme's success. Contribute to process training and skills building initiatives, including coaching and development of colleagues to support and accelerate the Agile Ways of Working. Risk Management Develop and implement robust risk management frameworks and processes to identify, assess, and mitigate programme risks, including owning and refining the Client Coverage Change Risk Management process and framework. Monitor and track risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary. Collaborate with Process Owners, Operational Risk and other 2nd Line teams to ensure active risk management and compliance with internal policies, standards and regulatory requirements. Act quickly and decisively when any risk and control weakness becomes apparent and ensure they are addressed within an appropriate timeframe and escalated through the relevant Governance forums. Ensure accurate and timely reporting into Governance forums (eg. Quarterly Performance Review, Programme Steering Committee) in line with bank policies & standards. Develop and implement risk management strategies to minimize potential negative impacts on the bank's operations. Governance Ensure efficient and effective governance structures and processes are established, in compliance with overarching Enterprise Change Management standards. Ensure adherence to established policies, procedures, and standards. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on the progress and outcomes of change initiatives. Regulatory & Business Conduct Ensure the Programme adheres to all relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Stay updated on relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards. Promote a strong culture of ethical behaviour and responsible business conduct. Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.
