Underground Equipment Mechanic

Job Description Job Description MasterTech is on the search for Heavy-Duty Mechanics in Elko, NV with underground mining equipment experience. The successful Mechanic will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of specialized heavy-duty equipment both in the shop and at large and exhilarating job sites. Compensation: $30.00 - $65.00/hour based on experience. 100% employer paid medical, dental, and vision coverage, along with life, and AD&D insurance. 401k retirement plan. Per diem pay for any travelling requirements. Weekly pay. Shift Schedule: Day shift, rotating 10 on 4 off work schedules. Constant OT is available. Key Qualifications: 3 or more years of experience working on heavy equipment (drilling, earthmoving, construction, mining, agricultural, etc.) Excellent understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems. Proficiency troubleshooting issues and using diagnostic software. Experience with welding and fabrication. Able to commit to overnight travel assignments when necessary. Valid driver's license with clean record. CDL, or able to obtain one. Full set of tools. MT1
