Hilliard, Ohio 43026 Suite 300 www.heelshomescom Business Development Manager Job Description Job Title: Business Development Manager Location: Hilliard, Ohio Compensation: Competitive base performance bonus (depending on experience) Reports To: Sales Manager Overview We’re looking for a driven and people-focused professional to join our team as a Business Development Manager. This role is the face of Heels Homes in the investment community, building and maintaining strong partnerships with wholesalers, agents, cash buyers, and vendors. Your mission: keep Heels Homes top-of-mind as a trusted, responsive, and active buyer — ensuring a consistent flow of quality deals into our acquisitions and dispositions pipeline. If you thrive on networking, following through, and creating win-win relationships, this role offers the chance to make a direct impact on our growth. Key Responsibilities 1. Relationship Management Maintain ongoing communication with wholesalers, agents, cash buyers, and vendors. Conduct regular check-ins (calls, texts, emails) to stay top-of-mind. Track partner pipeline and close new opportunities. 2. Deal Flow & Pipeline Support Monitor active deals with wholesalers to ensure smooth progress (help partners underwrite deals as an acquisition strategy). Provide real-time updates to the Sales Manager, Acquisitions team, and Dispositions team members. Identify repeat opportunities with wholesalers, agents, and vendors. 3. Market Engagement Post in real estate investment groups/forums to keep Heels Homes visible. Attend local REI meetups/networking events as the company representative. 4. Data & Reporting Maintain CRM notes and logs for every interaction. Provide weekly updates on relationship health, new opportunities, and partner responsiveness. Track KPIs: number of touchpoints, number of deals sourced, response rate, etc. 5. Internal Collaboration Partner with the Dispositions team to ensure wholesalers are updated on offers and closings. Partner with the Acquisitions team to make sure opportunities from wholesalers are processed quickly. Skills & Qualifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Organized and consistent with follow-up. Able to handle multiple partner pipelines simultaneously. Negotiation and trust-building mindset. Comfortable with CRM tools and reporting.
