Job Description Job Description We are seeking a technically strong and commercially savvy Application Engineer to support our ferrous and non-ferrous product lines in coordination with our distribution network across the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) region. This role is key in accelerating commercial conversions, expanding market coverage, and building technical capability through hands-on field support and training. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between our internal product teams, distributors, and customers, ensuring seamless implementation of solutions that meet performance expectations and drive profitable growth. Key Responsibilities Distributor Project Support Partner with distributor representatives to support customer projects and deliver hands-on technical expertise across both ferrous and non-ferrous foundry applications. Commercial Opportunity Acceleration Provide timely technical input that helps convert sales opportunities faster, especially in complex or high-potential accounts. Regional Coverage Ensure comprehensive technical coverage across the U.S., Mexico, and Canada by traveling regularly to support the needs of distributors and customers. Training & Enablement Deliver product and application training for distributors and customers, both in-person and virtually, to strengthen product understanding and service capability. Field Trials & Issue Resolution Prepare and support field trials at customer sites, analyze trial results, and work closely with product managers and R&D to resolve application issues. Collaboration & Feedback Loop Liaise with Product Managers, Commercial Directors, and Technical Teams to share field insights, influence product improvements, and enhance our value proposition. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering. 3–5 years of experience in application engineering, technical sales, or process optimization in molten metals or foundry-related environments. Experience supporting both ferrous and non-ferrous casting processes is strongly preferred. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus. Willing and able to travel 50% across NAFTA.
