Travel RN - Labor & Delivery (L&D) - Night Shift

Job Description Job Description 13-Week Contract We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Travel Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) for an exciting 13-week contract. This is a night-shift position for an experienced nurse who is ready to provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns at a leading healthcare facility in a dynamic location. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout the labor, delivery, and postpartum phases. Monitor and assess the condition of both mother and fetus, recognizing and responding to changes as needed. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Assist physicians during delivery and other medical procedures. Educate new parents on infant care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery. Document all patient care, assessments, and interventions accurately and in a timely manner. Handle high-stress situations and emergency procedures with professionalism and skill. Qualifications Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in [State Name, or "a compact state"]. Minimum of [e.g., 2] years of recent experience in a Labor & Delivery unit. Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program). Demonstrated ability to work effectively on a night-shift schedule. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
