This position requires the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a telemetry unit while collaborating effectively with all levels of staff.\n \n\nKey Responsibilities\n \n Monitor and interpret telemetry readings. \n Perform NG tube insertion and peripheral IV insertion. \n Manage care for patients with a variety of diagnoses including post-operative, COPD, CHF, and others. \n Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver seamless patient care. \n Adhere to unit-specific protocols and procedures. \n Work closely with CNAs, LPNs, and other healthcare professionals. \n \n\nRequirements\n \n Minimum of 2 years clinical experience required. \n At least 1 year of experience in telemetry nursing. \n Telemetry certification is preferred. \n Current BLS and ACLS certifications are required. \n NIH Stroke Scale certification must be completed prior to starting. \n EPIC experience within the past 2 years is essential. \n A reliable vehicle is preferred, as housing options may be 15 minutes away from the facility. \n \n\nShift Details\n \n 12-hour night shifts with a patient ratio of 4-6. \n Every other weekend commitment is required. \n No call requirements, but holiday coverage is necessary. \n \n\nAdditional Information\n \n Floating to like units may occur, but infrequently. \n Team-oriented work culture that fosters collaboration and professional growth. \n Documentation will be done through the Epic system. \n Free onsite parking available. \n \n\nPatient Population\n \n The Med-Surg Telemetry unit caters to adult patients requiring telemonitoring for various medical and post-operative conditions.\n \n\nApply Now!\n \n Join us in delivering exceptional patient care while working in a supportive and collaborative environment.\n \n\n \n At ARMStaffing we take care of our employees!
