Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/03/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Med/Surg Telemetry RN - Night Shift Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med/Surg Telemetry department on the night shift, working three 12-hour shifts per week from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 18 months of recent permanent experience in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting and must hold a valid Ohio nursing license or a compact state license. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced Med/Surg Telemetry unit. Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and telemetry readings. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and document patient progress. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement patient care plans and ensure optimal outcomes. Educate patients and their families about health conditions and post-discharge care. Maintain accurate records and documentation in the electronic health record system. Qualifications: Active RN license in Ohio or a compact state license. Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
