Machine Operative

We are currently seeking an experienced Machine Operative to join the team at a busy sand and gravel quarry . The primary responsibility will be the safe and efficient operation of a Volvo L150H Loading Shovel , used to load HGVs and feed material into wash plant and concrete plant hoppers. The role also includes general site duties, stockpile management, and supporting maintenance and housekeeping activities as required. Key Responsibilities Operate the Volvo L150H Loading Shovel to: Load HGVs with processed materials Feed raw material into wash plant and concrete plant hoppers Operate a 360 excavator or mini digger Manage stockpiles (as-raised and processed), including: Assist with site maintenance and housekeeping tasks using: Wash-down hoses Hand tools (shovels, wheelbarrows, etc.) Requirements Valid Loading Shovel ticket (essential) Valid MP Connect card (essential) Valid Manual Handling training Valid 360 Excavator ticket (preferred)
