Commercial Building Services Maintenance Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Lead Engineer to join our team at a high-profile, static commercial site based in Oxford Circus, London . This is a Monday to Friday role with a competitive salary of up to £50,000 per year , offering long-term stability and excellent working conditions in a central London location. Key Responsibilities: Lead all mechanical maintenance activities on-site (HVAC, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, valves, etc.) Supervise and support a team of engineers and subcontractors Manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive tasks Ensure site compliance with all health & safety regulations Act as the main point of contact for clients and site management Keep detailed records of work completed and site documentation Requirements: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering ( essential ) Proven experience in commercial building services maintenance Prior experience in a supervisory or lead role Strong understanding of mechanical systems and plant Excellent communication and leadership skills Good health & safety awareness Benefits: Salary up to £50,000 per annum Monday to Friday schedule (no weekends) 25 days holiday bank holidays Company pension scheme Training and development opportunities Tools, uniform, and PPE provided
