Senior Welder & Fabricator – Up to £45,000 Overtime Location: Norwich, Norfolk Start Date: ASAP Our client, a well-established engineering and fabrication company based in Norwich, is seeking an experienced Senior Welder & Fabricator to join their skilled team. This is a hands-on role involving a variety of high-quality projects, from precision fabrication to laser cutting. What's on Offer: Salary: Up to £45,000 per year (DOE) Overtime: 1.5× rate for weekday & Saturday overtime Sunday work: Paid at double time (when applicable) Free onsite parking Ongoing training & career progression opportunities Friendly, supportive working environment Key Responsibilities: Carrying out MIG & TIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium Fabricating bespoke components and assemblies to precise tolerances Operating laser cutting machinery to produce accurate, high-quality parts Reading and interpreting technical drawings & CAD files Ensuring all work meets safety and quality standards Providing guidance and support to junior team members Candidate Requirements: Proven experience as a senior or lead welder/fabricator Competency in both MIG and TIG welding techniques Experience operating laser cutting equipment (or willingness to train) Ability to work from engineering drawings with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Positive attitude, team player, and safety conscious Application Process: This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected Norwich-based company offering competitive pay, generous overtime rates, and free onsite parking.
