Maintenance Engineer

Job Title: Maintenance Engineer Location: Hitchin Salary: £50,946 per annum Shift Pattern: Double Days We are currently seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our growing engineering team based in Hitchin. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment within a supportive and progressive company. Key Responsibilities: Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and respond to equipment breakdowns. Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance across the plant. Work proactively to reduce equipment failures and contribute to cost-reduction initiatives. Support continuous improvement projects across the site to drive efficiency and reliability. Candidate Profile: Proven experience in a food manufacturing or similar FMCG environment (highly desirable). Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
