Our client, a global leader in solutions and products for plastics manufacturing sector , is seeking a General Manager to lead their China business unit . This is a pivotal role with full P&L responsibility, driving growth, operational excellence, and commercial success in one of the company’s most important markets. The Role: Based in China, you will: Lead the Chinese business unit, overseeing sales, manufacturing, engineering, finance, and supply chain functions. Drive growth through strategic leadership, commercial focus, and operational excellence. Take ownership of P&L, budgets, and investments while ensuring long-term sustainability. Build, develop, and inspire high-performing teams. Represent the company with customers and stakeholders, positioning the business as a market leader. Collaborate closely with the global executive team to shape and deliver strategy. About You: 10–15 years of senior leadership experience in plastics manufacturing with international experience Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record in P&L leadership and business growth . Solid understanding of sales, manufacturing, engineering, quality, R&D, and finance. Knowledge of the China market and ability to navigate cultural and business dynamics - proffered Degree in Engineering or Business (additional business/finance qualifications advantageous). Why Join?
