Procurement Analyst / Project Manager (IT - Telecom Category)

We are seeking an Analyst who will work in the procurement advisory field with one of our clients who is based out of the US. Department Objectives The Advisory Services Team is recently formed to deliver three key outcomes: Horizontal Expansion – conduct sourcing across all seven categories of Technology Spending, creating client relationships across all decision-making silos Accelerate Sourcing Timelines – move faster than current trends to build inventory, build category strategy, and lead the client to a decision Obtain Manage Needed Client Data– store, manage and utilize client spending data such as GL’s, budget, project lists and more in order to inform a thoughtful client strategic plan Responsibilities Tactical execution for the Advisory Services Team, including data entry, data management and analytics to support overall Department Objectives and decision making Comprehension and command of the key facts derived from the client and vendor data Communication of obstacles and challenges early in client lifecycle to limit impact of Days to Complete metrics Manage multiple client projects, including client and vendor communications, negotiation strategy development and execution, and project completion and transition to Client Success Team. Internal reporting on Executive Briefing status, refresh of client “key” information (including GL, vendor payment history, budgets, upcoming CapEx/project list and other information as deemed essential to accomplishing Department Objectives) Preparation of content and deliverables needed for client or internal meetings Other responsibilities as jointly agreed Skills and Qualifications 2 years progressive experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing Consulting or Management Consulting with purchasing/procurement knowledge. Strong verbal and written communication skills Advanced skills with Microsoft Office suite Preferred: Strategic sourcing category experience within IT categories: Network, Edge, Cloud, Security, CXaaS, Intelligence and Application Optimization Preferred: Financial and Business Acumen to lead inquiry in and around client financial statements to help define business goals or outcomes (strategy development) Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in field of Business, Technology, Supply Chain or related discipline; Master’s Degree preferred Ability to work on US Central Time zone – 8am to 6pm
