Why Join The Harris Law Firm?

Voted Best Law Firm and Best Lawyers by Best Lawyers® every year since 2019 and recognized as one of the 2023 & 2024 BEST PLACES TO WORK – LAW FIRMS!

The Harris Law Firm is more than a place to practice law — it’s a place to grow, to belong, and to make meaningful impact. While we’re best known for our excellence in family law, our Operations team is the backbone of the firm, and we’re looking for an Accounting Specialist to join us in shaping the next chapter of our growth.

We’re not just hiring for a role, we’re hiring a person — someone smart, detail-oriented, forward-thinking, and committed to doing meaningful work that supports both our clients and our people.

Who Thrives Here:

  • People who lead with integrity, accuracy, and accountability

  • Professionals who want freedom without isolation and appreciate collaboration

  • Individuals excited to take ownership of their work, support leadership, and contribute to firm-wide success

  • Organized problem-solvers who thrive in fast-paced, client-focused environments

  • Team members who value flexibility, shared success, and a strong culture

What You’ll Do:

As our Accounting Specialist, you’ll ensure the financial integrity of the firm while partnering closely with leadership and operations. You will:

  • Administer Accounts Payable using Bill.com, reconcile subledgers, maintain vendor records, and assist with 1099s

  • Support Accounts Receivable in Centerbase, including cash application and reconciliations

  • Manage Payroll Administration in Paylocity, ensuring compliance and accuracy

  • Oversee Credit Card & Reimbursements through Expensify and related platforms

  • Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and GAAP-aligned financial reports in QBO

  • Assist with cash flow forecasting and collaborate with HR/Operations on benefits tracking and reporting

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; equivalent experience considered

  • 3–5+ years of experience in accounts payable, receivables, and payroll

  • 2+ years of experience with reconciliations and general ledger work

  • Familiarity with Bill.com, Expensify, Centerbase, LawPay, Paylocity, Excel, and QBO is a plus

  • Strong analytical skills with Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, tracing data flows)

  • High attention to detail, accountability, and confidentiality

Let’s Grow Together.

If you’re a smart, detail-oriented Accounting professional looking for a place where culture, flexibility, and values matter just as much as skill, we’d love to hear from you.
