Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. A speech-language pathologist position is available supporting K-12 students in a full-time contract role within a school setting located in Roanoke, VA. This opportunity serves a diverse caseload across elementary, middle, and high school grades for the upcoming school year, providing comprehensive speech and language services. Responsibilities include: Delivering assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for speech, language, and communication disorders in students from kindergarten through 12th grade Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with school policies and regulatory standards Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and assisting with student evaluations Providing support and strategies to enhance communication skills and academic performance Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience or eligibility to work in a school setting (SLP-School certification preferred) Ability to manage caseloads across multiple grade levels (K-12) Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Commitment to student-centered care and collaboration within an educational environment This full-time position requires a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours with six openings available for the next school year.
