Located in Blacksburg, VA, the position involves a comprehensive caseload spanning Kindergarten through 12th grade, providing valuable experience across diverse age groups and speech-language needs. Position Details: Location: Blacksburg, VA Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Caseload: K-12 students with speech and language needs Contract: Non-school year (NSY) Number of Openings: 6 positions available Interviews are currently being scheduled for the upcoming school year Key Responsibilities: Conduct speech and language assessments for K-12 students Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with educational standards Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of communication goals Qualifications: Valid CCC certification, CFY status, or School SLP licensure Experience working with school-aged children (K-12) Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to manage a full caseload effectively Commitment to supporting student success in a school environment This contract offers an excellent platform to impact student outcomes while gaining valuable experience in school-based speech-language pathology.
