About the Role: Here at Mass Virtual, we are dedicated to the development and growth of our employees and are excited to be offering this internship. This internship will allow you to have hands-on experience to develop and grow your skillset and capabilities within the Finance & Accounting department. You will work under the direction of the Director of Finance and Compliance, and alongside our Finance Team. Some essential duties you will participate in include ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions related to vendor payments, credit card reconciliations, and more. This is a paid part-time internship, averaging 15-20 hours per week. What you’ll be doing: Process and record vouchers in our accounting system with accuracy and efficiency. Coordinate and execute weekly Accounts Payable runs, ensuring all payments are processed on schedule. Initiate and manage vendor payments as needed, maintaining compliance with internal controls and approval workflows. Reconcile company credit cards daily, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly. Maintain vendor records, including entering credit card vendors into the accounting system and submitting New Vendor forms for onboarding of new AP vendors. Performs ad hoc tasks as required Requirements: What you need to succeed: Enrolled in a university or college program at junior or senior level, with a preferred course of study to include Finance, Accounting, or a related field Minimum GPA of 3.0 Maintain a high degree of confidentiality Strong attention to detail and good problem-solving skills Proven ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in MS Excel, including formulas, functions, and data analysis tools Able to demonstrate a professional work ethic Able to maintain a flexible work schedule Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Good interpersonal and organizational skills Working Conditions: In-office 100% of the time The person in this position must be able to stay stationary for long periods of time Some travel may be required for this role Some transportation of equipment may be required – up to 50 pounds Job Location: On-Site – Orlando, Florida.
