Job Description Job Description Refrigeration Technician Location: Mansfield, MA Schedule: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Pay Range: $28–32/hr Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for charging, testing, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide variety of refrigeration systems used in environmental test equipment. This position requires technical expertise, precision, and hands-on experience with complex systems such as single stage, cascade, and multiple stage refrigeration units. This position is located in an ITAR-regulated facility . Key Responsibilities Charge, test, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration systems using blueprints, schematics, piping diagrams, and technical manuals. Assist engineers with test formulation, evaluation plans, and procedures to ensure accuracy of refrigeration system performance. Fabricate, assemble, test, and repair cascade and multiple stage refrigeration systems for environmental test chambers. Perform leak testing on lines, components, and connections using leak detectors. Evacuate systems to remove air and moisture, then charge with specified refrigerant. Record and analyze pressure and temperature readings during system testing. Diagnose and repair defective refrigeration systems at all levels of assembly. Qualifications Required: Minimum 2 years of experience as a Refrigeration Technician (not maintenance/repair only). EPA Certification . Proficiency in brazing techniques .
