Technical Services Manager - CAT A/ CAT B / Refurbishments • London • Up to £95,000 Travel • September 2025 • Permanent One of London's most vibrant contractors have a new opportunity for a Technical Services Manager to be an integral part of their exciting projects. As the Technical Services Manager, you will be involved with CAT A, CAT B and refurbishment projects in ranging between £10m - £70m in construction value. Your responsibilities include: • Tender and Pre-construction • Sub-contractor selection • Setting up systems for testing, inspections and commissioning, • Attend site meetings with site staff and sub-contractors. • Monitor sub-contractor performance & installation quality • Advise construction team of programme issues and sub-contractor performance • Supervise the snagging and defect, in co-operation with the Contracts Manager. • Coordinate testing / witnessing and commissioning of HVAC & electrical works associated with the contract Ideally you will be will be an enthusiastic and proactive individual who has a strong building services background with a mechanical bias but also a very good understanding of electrical services. Your Key Skills & Attributes will include • A minimum of 10 years' experience in mechanical & electrical services within the London fit out sector • A detailed understanding of the principles of engineering • Proficient time management and the ability to multi-task • Excellent project management and organizational skills • Strong communication and collaboration abilities • Ability to analyse and solve complex M&E problems • Confidence and experience in presentation and public speaking • Experience in supporting live jobs as a project engineer • Degree in Mechanical Engineering / CIBSE • From a Principal Contractor background This opportunity will suit if you are looking for the next step in your career journey and enjoy working with motivated and committed colleagues on sites in Central London.
