Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (NEC3/4) Location: Peterborough (Hybrid Options Available) Contract Type: Permanent or Freelance About the Role We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with proven expertise in NEC3 and NEC4 contracts to join our team in Peterborough. Key Responsibilities Manage all aspects of cost control, from initial estimates through to final accounts. Administer and manage NEC3/NEC4 contracts, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks. Prepare valuations, variations, and interim applications for payment. Provide accurate forecasting, cash flow, and cost reporting. Negotiate and manage subcontractor and supplier agreements. Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on budget and within contractual frameworks. Support dispute resolution and claims processes where necessary. Requirements Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent professional experience. Demonstrable experience working under NEC3/NEC4 contracts. Strong commercial acumen and cost management skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative project team. Previous experience in civil engineering, infrastructure, or construction projects desirable.
