We are seeking two experienced Chartered Building Surveyors (MRICS) for a 6-month freelance secondment opportunity with a reputable consultancy, embedded within a local authority client in Bath. This role offers the chance to work on a diverse mix of projects and professional instructions, contributing to meaningful and impactful work in a historic and vibrant city. About the Role This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary building consultancy known for delivering high-quality service and expertise. You will be seconded into a local authority environment, working across: A range of building projects, from maintenance and refurbishment to new developments. Professional services such as condition surveys, party wall matters, dilapidations, and defect diagnosis. Providing expert advice and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.What We’re Looking For MRICS/MCIOB/MCABE Chartered Building Surveyors with proven post-qualification experience. Expertise across both project work and professional services. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
