Hospital Porter

We are currently recruiting for Hospital Porters to work in a faced paced Hospital Environment. This job will entail; * Moving Patients on trolleys or in wheelchairs and beds. * Managing the post and deliveries, all waste collection and disposal (including clinical e.g. samples of patients' blood) * Movement of all goods and equipment when required and any additional tasks as requested. The Ideal Candidate must have; * Must have an extensive Care background. * Excellent customer service and providing a friendly ear to patients during what can sometimes be a particularly unsettling time. * Good time management and organisational skills Ability to work well under pressure. * Able to deal with upsetting sights whilst on shift. * Self-motivated. * Ability to work effectively. * Physically fit as the role requires walking upto 20 Miles per day. Shift pattern; * 5 days over 7 - 9am-5pm You will need to be FULLY flexiable for this role Application question(s): * You will face some upsetting sights, Are you happy to proceed? * Are you happy with walking upto 20 Miles per day?
