User Researcher – SC Cleared | Data Projects | Outside IR35 | Remote | £450/day We’re hiring a contract User Researcher to support a public sector consultancy client on a data-driven project within central government. This role requires active SC Clearance and experience working with data-focused multidisciplinary teams. You’ll be responsible for planning and conducting user research across a complex service landscape, feeding into design and development of tools and services that help drive better outcomes through data. Contract Details: Rate: £450/day (Outside IR35) Location: Remote, mainly with occasional London (UK-based only) Start: ASAP Length: Initially until end of January (with potential extension)Key Requirements: Current SC Clearance (essential) Experience working in central government or wider public sector Strong understanding of GDS service standards and UCD principles Hands-on experience conducting qualitative and quantitative user research Confidence working with data teams – understanding data workflows, pipelines, analytics or visualisation tools is a plus Able to work within Agile multidisciplinary teams (product, design, data, dev) Comfortable leading user research through discovery and alpha phasesIf you're a User Researcher with active SC and a solid understanding of how to support data product teams through user insight — we’d like to hear from you
