Job: Painter – B Lower (Technical) Location: North Tyneside Hours: 37 Hours per Week, Monday to Friday Salary: £18 per hour Are you an experienced Painter looking for a stable, rewarding role within the public sector? We’re currently recruiting on behalf of a local authority for a skilled Painter to work across their housing stock, carrying out a range of painting and decorating duties to a high standard. Key Responsibilities: Carrying out internal and external painting works on council housing properties Preparing surfaces, applying paints, stains, and other finishes Ensuring all work meets health and safety regulations Working as part of a wider repairs and maintenance team Providing excellent service to residents and stakeholdersRequirements: Proven experience in painting and decorating (domestic/social housing experience desirable) NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Painting & Decorating (preferred) Full UK Driving Licence (may be required depending on role specifics) Ability to work independently and manage workloads efficiently A commitment to quality and customer satisfactionThis is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team and contribute to the maintenance and improvement of social housing within the North Tyneside area.
