Test Lead/ Test Manager - Corsham £85,000

I am looking for an experienced hands off Test Lead/ Test Manager to join a leading local software consultancy, working on site in Corsham three days per week. These guys have become a great client of ours and are genuinely a fantastic company to work for. In this role, you’ll take ownership of a test function of up to 17 people, leading integration and end-to-end testing across long-term, high profile ethical defence projects to help keep the UK safe. The environment is currently manual testing, with plans to introduce more automation in the future, so a strong foundation in manual testing and a vision for modernising processes will be key. This is a leadership-focused position, where your impact will be felt across multiple projects. You’ll be responsible for setting direction, embedding best practices, aligning standards, and ensuring consistency of quality across workstreams. Alongside shaping strategy, you’ll mentor and support testers at all levels, while working closely with project managers, developers and client stakeholders to make sure quality is built into every stage of delivery. The consultancy employs over 1,200 people in the UK, split into smaller specialist divisions that operate with real autonomy. Salarys between £70,000 and £85,000 depending on experience
