Quantity Surveyor

Our client, a reputable Main Contractor specialising in industrial and commercial builds, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team at their head office in the Kettering area. With a healthy pipeline of projects across the Midlands and beyond, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with strong client relationships and long-term stability. The Role As Quantity Surveyor, you will take responsibility for the commercial management of projects from tender through to final account. You’ll work closely with the project delivery team, ensuring financial control and maximising profitability across a variety of industrial and commercial schemes. Key Responsibilities: * Managing costs across multiple projects, ensuring profitability and contractual compliance * Preparing valuations, variations, interim applications, and final accounts * Procuring and managing subcontractor packages, payments, and negotiations * Forecasting budgets and monitoring cash flow * Liaising with clients, consultants, and site teams to resolve commercial issues * Supporting senior management with reporting and project reviews The Candidate * Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a main contractor (essential) * Background in industrial and/or commercial builds preferred * Strong knowledge of contract administration and cost control * Excellent negotiation and communication skills * Confident managing multiple projects at different stages * Full UK driving licence
