Slinger Signaller

Job Description: JobMatcha are looking for a qualified and safety-conscious Slinger Signaller to support lifting operations on our civils construction projects. The role involves directing the movement of loads and ensuring safe lifting procedures are followed on site. Key Responsibilities: * Safely direct and guide crane operators and lifting equipment using hand and radio signals * Assess and prepare loads for lifting, including slinging and securing materials * Carry out pre-use checks on lifting gear and report any defects * Work closely with lifting teams, plant operators, and site supervisors * Ensure all lifting operations comply with health and safety regulations and lift plans * Maintain clear communication and situational awareness during operations Requirements: * Valid CPCS/NPORS Slinger Signaller qualification (A40 or equivalent) * Proven experience in civil engineering or construction environments * Strong understanding of lifting procedures and safety standards * Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team * Awareness of lifting plans and risk assessments
