Commercial Gas Engineer - Wakefield

Job Description: We're currently recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to support a temporary project in Wakefield, starting 8th September 2025 for a duration of 18 weeks. This is a great opportunity for a qualified engineer to get involved with ongoing commercial maintenance and installation works on a short-term basis. Key Duties: Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repair work on commercial gas systems Diagnosing faults and performing necessary repairs Working across various commercial sites in the Wakefield area Ensuring all works comply with gas safety standards and site-specific H&S requirements Maintaining accurate job records and communicating progress with supervisors Requirements: Valid and up-to-date commercial gas qualifications (e.g., CODNCO1, CIGA1, CORT1, TPCP1A) Proven experience in commercial gas servicing and maintenance Must have own tools and transport - vehicle is not provided Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Must be reliable, punctual, and professional on site What's on Offer: 18-week temporary contract with consistent hours Competitive hourly rate (PAYE or CIS options available) Weekly pay Immediate point of contact for support throughout the contract Interested?
